MXenes are 2D materials that have drawn the attention of researches over the past few years, mainly, due to their outstanding electrical and optical properties. Few studies were made on their usage as contacts for solar cells. In this novel work, we invistage the performance of our zirconia-passivated PERC (Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell) solar cell when Ti3C2Tx MXene is used as a contacts in lieu of silver. The effect of annealing on its structure and the overall efficiency of the solar cell is presented in this work.
