<br/>Electro-optically tunable active metasurfaces that enable dynamic modulation of reflection amplitude, phase, and polarization using resonantly excited materials and phenomena are powerful design elements for meta-imaging and computation. We describe the role of such active metasurfaces as cascadable elements in lens-less and single-photon imaging systems. I will describe the features of a lens-less imaging system comprised of active metasurface elements as components, and compare the characteristics to conventional lens-couple image sensors.
