Meet the New Faculty Candidates Poster Session

The Meet the New Faculty Candidates Poster Session offers an excellent opportunity for faculty candidates to meet one another and get feedback before their interviews, and for recruiters and search committees to find new faculty candidates. The goals of this event include the following:

  • Provide resources to help early career professionals apply to academic positions
  • Offer a networking opportunity for new faculty candidates and recruiters/search committees
  • Provide a platform for early career professionals to develop their statement of research and teaching/pedagogy and to practice for their interviews

Abstract Submissions

Participants are required to submit an abstract and present a poster that showcases their research vision, pedagogy and service.  Sample abstracts and career development resources can be found below.

Abstracts will be accepted September 3 – September 16, 2024.
