Science in Video Competition (SciVid) asked scientists to develop high-impact videos to generate a broader interest in materials science that can teach, explain, amaze, amuse or fascinate! Now that the submission window for SciVid is closed, it is time to start judging the videos! We have received 23 submissions. For the judging, Babak Anasori created a rubric for scoring and a Google Form to make the scoring easier. This is a private video playlist on the Materials Research Society YouTube channel. You are selecting the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Awards, as well a the list of finalists for the MRS membership to select the People's Choice Award. All awards will be presented Nov. 29 at the 2017 MRS Fall Meeting in Boston. Thank you for being a judge for this inaugural SciVid Competition.
Abstract submission for the 2023 MRS Spring Meeting will run from September 23 - October 27, 2022. The complete Call for Papers is available at https://www.mrs.org/s23-cfp. The videos in this playlist feature organizers from various symposia describing the work that will be featured in their symposia.
