Graduate students and post-docs who are interested in contributing to the 2024 MRS Fall Meeting Scene newsletter and the Meeting Blog are encouraged to apply.
Reporters will be required to attend talks in a variety of symposia and write brief summaries (100-250 words) of four talks each day; bloggers will be required to post at least five items per day and also tweet about their experiences at the Meeting. Reporters and Bloggers will have their registration reimbursed up to the Student Rate. In addition, volunteers will receive a stipend of $50.

Graduate students who are interested in assisting in the symposium sessions during the 2024 MRS Fall Meeting & Exhibit in Boston, Massachusetts are encouraged to apply for a symposium assistant position.
Symposium assistants deliver essential meeting materials to the technical session rooms, monitor audio-visual equipment and room lighting, track and record attendance and perform other tasks requested by the session chairs.
By assisting in a minimum of two days (four half-day sessions), students will receive a complimentary student registration, a one-year MRS student membership commencing January 1, 2025, and limited financial assistance to help defray expenses.
