Thank you for your interest in volunteering with MRS.  Your volunteer interest form will be directed to the appropriate individual(s).  Every effort will be made to fulfill your request; however, please note that certain roles are limited by the number of volunteers, timing or experience required.  Most rosters are reviewed annually in late December/early January.

Committees and Subcommittees

MRS committee and subcommittee rosters are reviewed for openings once a year (November/ December). Most committee level positions are filled from the subcommittee level. For descriptions, click here.

Shared Interest Groups
MRS Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) are communities within the Society with a shared interest in networking, community building, and passion for advancing the materials community. SIG members cooperate to support members’ careers and stimulate improvements in the materials community by informing each other, advising the Society, and, potentially, organizing activities or programs.
