There is a global need for the development of more innovative technological solutions for clean energy generation and deployment. The energy transition cannot rely solely on existing approaches, to achieve climate goals we need to re-shape how we think about energy.
Oxford PV’s commercial solution for energy generation, tandem solar cells, has proven to be globally accepted as the next generation PV. This technology brings into market high efficiency systems that will become more efficient as the technology continues to develop. The journey is only starting and Oxford PV has already certified a 26.9% efficiency solar panel.
A circular economy requires a new way of thinking, demands a different definition of what is waste and what is a resource, calls for trade-offs between longevity and reusability. The faster generation of more clean energy is mandatory to address the climate crisis. What if the waste of tomorrow are the resources to achieve this?
In this presentation, I will raise this question and more. Re-shaping the energy system is our responsibility.
