Poster sessions at the MRS Fall Meeting & Exhibit offer a dynamic platform for materials researchers to present and discuss their work. These sessions facilitate direct interactions between presenters and attendees, fostering in-depth discussions, idea exchanges, and networking opportunities. They are an essential part of the Meeting, showcasing cutting-edge research across a wide range of topics.

Best Poster Winners are selected each night by the Meeting Chairs on the basis of the poster’s technical content, appearance, graphic excellence, and presentation quality (not necessarily equally weighted).

All poster presenters must first pick up your ID card at the Poster Support Desk in the lobby of the Seattle Convention Center - Summit. Desk hours are 8:00 am - 2:00 pm.

All poster presenters should carefully review the poster presenter guidelines found here prior to arriving onsite. The Poster Presenter Check-In Desk will be open from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm Tuesday through Thursday, and all presenters must check in there to receive their Poster ID cards, which are required to hang their posters in the poster hall.

All posters must be hung before 2:00 pm to be eligible for "Best Poster Award" judging. Poster presenters are not permitted to be in the Poster Hall from 2:30 pm until the start time of the Technical Poster Sessions (5:00 pm).
