Symposium E: Photovoltaic Technologies–Materials, Devices, and Systems

Photovoltaic Technologies–Materials, Devices, and Systems

This symposium aims at providing a dynamic forum to explore new materials, concepts, and approaches toward achieving low-cost, high-efficiency, and high-reliability photovoltaic (PV) systems, as well as linking multidisciplinary areas of research (physics, chemistry, materials science) and engineering for advancing the state-of-the-art PV technology.

Abstracts are solicited for both oral and poster presentations.

Session topics will include:

  • Advances in Si technology
  • Thin-film solar cells
  • III-V and concentrator
  • New materials, concepts, and fundamentals for future technology
  • PV modules and systems
  • Materials modeling for photovoltaic energy conversion
